In order to ensure every piece of equipment meets the highest quality, durability and performance standards Graco has set for over 60 years, our engineers use multiple systems and performance tests, including:. The Graco commitment to quality and manufacturing in the USA starts with selecting and working with the highest quality raw metals and materials. Once inside our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, we physically transform these materials into the individual Genuine Graco parts and components found in our spray equipment, using sophisticated equipment operated by highly trained and skilled American workers.
Instead of basic modular assembly, our unrelenting focus on maintaining control during all aspects of our manufacturing process helps make sure we deliver the highest quality products for hard-working professional contractors that rely on them to get the job done right, every day.
The Graco spirit of leading innovation found in our sprayers is also a large part of our assembly process. Once the raw materials are transformed within our facilities into the individual Genuine Graco parts and components, these components are then assembled into the sprayers by another group of skilled American workers using precision fixtures and calibrated tools. From our tech assistance and customer support teams to our online parts and dealer support systems, all of our interactions and experiences are guided by a focus on integrity and partnerships, not transactions.
Hope this information helps you in your search! Are there any high back boosters manufactured in the US? We have the Clek Oobr but it is proving incompatible with the 3rd row of my Honda Odyssey. The seat belt constantly locks causing me to have to climb in an unlatch the seat and then reinstall it. Check out the Evenflo Spectrum also on Amazon.
The good news is that it comes with a very affordable price tag. Unfortunately the only other option real option is the Evenflo Big Kid. There have been a few others made in the USA over the years like the Cosco Pronto, but that seems to generally be out of stock. The dedicated booster seats Britax currently makes Highpoint and Skyline are imported to the best of my knowledge. Those are made in the USA! Recently purchased a Cosco Apt 50 based on your recommendation.
It is clearly marked as made in Vietnam. Very disappointed. Thanks so much for stopping by and for reporting your findings. As of the writing of this article in early , the Apt 50 was manufactured here in the USA.
I suspect that they may have changed temporarily due to recent disruptions in supply chains and the manufacturing sector. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment. Also, the way the seatbelt guide is designed seemed to make it more difficult for my daughter to pull down on her own than I was expecting UGH!
Ok next question…. We actually already have combination boosters 50 lb max with harness that I intended to be the last seats we would purchase. Unfortunately, when we switched to highback booster mode for our daughter who is just over the max weight for the harness, the seatbelt was very difficult to route and extremely hard to buckle, even for my husband, due to the width of the seat itself.
This is why I was looking at new combination seats again in the first place. So my question is this, with their current stats, would you invest in higher weight combination seats or would you be completely comfortable with their safety if you moved them both to a highback booster?
I think I just need assurance, because there are so many options out there its hard to know what is the right thing to do to insure their safety! Again, thanks so much for you help. It is greatly appreciated! Genevieve, sorry for the late response. Some components of their seats are made elsewhere, notably the covers, which may have their own labels on the cover and on the box. If your carseat manufacture label on the Boulevard itself does show Mexico or China, would you please send us a photo?
Thank you! We bought a Britax Boulevard in that said made in Mexico, and another in that said made in China. I was disappointed to see that, and the 2nd seat is of inferior quality to the first. Can anyone tell me what carseat that might be? This is so helpful!! Is there a printable version? We are getting ready to spend some grant money on training seats. Hey there. I am working with a local organization and they have grant money that must be used on products made in the USA and I had no idea where to point her.
Now I do. The Evenflow Amp high back booster is made in China. There is a sticker on the outside of the box that indicates this, as well as a sticker that says made in the USA. To me this seat is not made in the US. I feel like the sticker on the front of the box is misleading and false. Okay, this is fantastic! I kept trying to figure this out Now, i need a grid: high weight limit on harness narrow fit for possible 3-across when friends are visiting back seat of minivan, darn wheel wells!
Anyone have thoughts on that? Mark J. I will confirm with Evenflo and update the blog. We found your website to be quite helpful! Thanks for providing this info! Daniel — thanks for the info!
The chart has been updated to reflect the correct information. As a manufacturer, I know that one advantage of having production close by is that you can not only monitor the process and progress of the lot, but you can get ideas by watching and talking with the people who are putting it all together. Thanks, Kecia!
For example, even on models made in North America, the boxes and fabric may have a label indicating that the cover materials are made overseas. Also, important safety components like harness and LATCH systems are often sourced from other suppliers.
Others are often sourced from southeast Asia. Even so, we do often note where carseats are manufactured for those consumers who may be concerned. We recognize that many shoppers like to support their domestic economies. Others may be concerned about factory labor conditions or lack of government environmental regulations in some countries noted for very low cost production. Some may be troubled by possible quality control issues or the lack of oversight on the use of potentially hazardous materials when 3rd party manufacturing facilities are used.
These are all valid concerns, but obviously may not apply to some or any of the models listed here! We have seen some of the USA production facilities in the past. I have toured the Britax production lines in Charlotte, NC, and hope to see their new, larger facility in South Carolina soon! Models sold with stroller as a Travel System are made in China but production molds and components are shipped from the USA. Related Posts.
