Who is rangiku in bleach

Rangiku is not only a talented Soul Reaper, but she can navigate a battlefield with wit and grace. She found herself clashing against Halibel Tier's three fracciones, who are already a powder keg when together. Rangiku easily played them against each other and created an opening, despite being badly outnumbered. Not only that, but Rangiku is perfectly capable of using kido in battle, and this can give her an edge against opponents who use more straightforward attacks.

She's a flexible fighter for sure. A number of Soul Reaper ladies formed a club called the Women's Association, and for some reason, the young Yachiru Kusajishi is the president. Rangiku is a member of this group too, and she has all kinds of fun there. In bonus comics and episodes, Rangiku helps the ladies pick out swimsuits for some beachside fun in the human world, and she also contributed a classy idea for new Soul Pagers.

Sounds good to us. Here are two major figures in the Seireitei Communication newspaper: Rangiku at left, and Shuhei Hisagi at right. Shuhei's squad, the 9th, runs the newspaper, and Rangiku has something to offer.

She also contributed some photos of her own Captain Hitsugaya for a photo album, showing just how much she loves her pint-sized Captain! Both Toshiro and Byakuya are popular photography subjects among Soul Reaper women, in fact. Rangiku thinks of how everyone is moving on, as she recalls how neither Hisagi nor Renji were at their divisions' headquarters; she figures they are both off training somewhere.

She notes that she is moving on as well, recalling that whenever Gin disappeared he'd leave her nothing to remember him by and she hated him for that. She then notes that had he left her something then she would probably be stuck in that spot forever and she is sure that he knew that about her.

She then silently thanks him as she loved that part of him. They then find Ichigo being attacked by Haineko and Tobiume , and engage them in battle, while telling Ichigo to go. Quickly, Rangiku and Haineko get in another argument about each others' appearances. During their conversation, Muramasa arrives at their location through a Garganta. Muramasa begins to fight Ichigo, but is having trouble adjusting to his " new " body, something both Rangiku and Momo notice.

Muramasa then decides to restrain them with a binding attack, but his weakened condition causes the effect to wear off. As Ichigo tries to fight Muramasa again, Senbonzakura arrives and fights Ichigo instead.

Senbonzakura activates his Bankai and attacks Ichigo, as well as Rangiku and Momo. Byakuya then retreats along with Muramasa and Senbonzakura, the latter using his technique to cover their escape. They were found and treated by the 4th Division. Rangiku joins her allies in destroying several Gillian attracted by the unstable Muramasa. In Soul Society, the Shinigami of the Gotei 13 are allowed to enjoy a day of relaxation and partying to recuperate from the recent chaos.

During its attack, Rangiku loses her Soul Candy , preventing her from accessing her Shinigami powers. Haineko seeks amnesty for Narunosuke. When she asks why Haineko brought it up in the first place, she nervously claims that it was just out of curiosity. Matsumoto denies knowing who could be behind it. However, she is suspicious that Haineko is behind the thefts, and so asks where Haineko was at during all the times she was not in Seireitei.

Haineko says that she was simply "out". Unable to get a clear answer, Rangiku tells her of how a thief has been stealing supplies and asks if Haineko knows anything about it.

Unconvinced by Haineko's denial, Matsumoto states that it is kind of scary, prompting Haineko to leave almost immediately. She asks why Haineko chose not to tell her. He destroys the hut, forcing all of them to flash-step away from the wreckage. Haineko envelopes herself and Narunosuke in her Shikai and kills him.

Later, Haineko explains to Rangiku that the reason she kept quiet about it all was due to her crush on Narunosuke, which Rangiku says she already knew about. When Haineko confusedly asks what she means by that, Rangiku claims that it was nothing, prompting Haineko to state that Matsumoto is just teasing her.

When Haineko says that she's "kinda glad" that she's still young, and Rangiku asks her why, Haineko playfully stats that she still has "plenty of time until I become an old hag", prompting Rangiku to warmly smile at her in response. They had been setting up barriers for the past month. Rangiku suggests that they celebrate, prompting Nanao to note that Rangiku has seemed somewhat depressed recently. She receives a call from Hitsugaya on her Denreishinki, with her captain criticizing her for not making regular progress reports.

When she informs him that they are finished, he orders her to return. Nanao opens a Senkaimon and the pair enter the Dangai, noting that while it is the designated path, it is creepy. As Rangiku notices something odd, their Hell Butterflies turn into energy. When questioned, they insist that only three hours have passed since Hitsugaya ordered them to return.

Later, Kon runs into her on the street and realizes the Rangiku he had seen earlier was a Reigai. Rangiku arrives later to defeat her Reigai copy by releasing her Shikai. At first, Rangiku feels overly confidant, given how she easily negated Wabisuke's effects in their previous encounter. However, Rangiku drops her weapon after only a few strikes and the Reigai reveals that his abilities increase the weight of an object by tenfold instead of just doubling it like the original.

Eventually, she is able to trick the Reigai by covering a metal pole with her scarf so that the weight increase traps his weapon while Rangiku rushes towards her weapon and unleashes her Shikai in his direction, killing the Reigai. After Rukia Kuchiki's battle with the two Reigai, Rangiku Matsumoto appears, noting that the battles have now ended. However, Rukia comments that they are full of openings, prompting Rangiku to turn back.

She gets slashed across the chest area, as Nemu sprawls onto the ground. Rangiku is surprised that she was a Reigai all along, locking blades with Reigai-Rukia Kuchiki. Eventually, both Rangiku and Nemu are overpowered, falling to the lake below them. Rangiku participates in a meeting in Ichigo's room, where she listens to Nanao reporting on the situation in Soul Society.

Later, when the Reigai of Kenpachi Zaraki breaks out of Urahara's trap and arrives in the Human World, Rangiku and the other lieutenants arrive to help Ikkaku fight him. However, Ikkaku warns them to stay out of his fight.

Rangiku criticizes him for this, but he tells her they have their own opponents. When more Reigai arrive, Rangiku leaves to fight the new arrivals. Upon rejoining their allies, it is decided to rely on Nozomi's energy-absorbing "Arazome Shigure ".

They all direct their energy into Nozomi's blade, who then launches a powerful blast that defeats all the Reigai, except for Reigai-Byakuya, who retaliates with a blast of his own that knocks out everyone except for Ichigo and Nozomi.

Before Reigai-Byakuya can finish them off, Yamamoto arrives and quickly defeats the Reigai. However, she states that their condition is severe.

Rangiku faces off against her own counterpart. Byakuya Kuchiki then realizes the truth behind the Reigai's battle style: they value self-preservation the most and won't attack first in fear of being outnumbered.

The lieutenants then team up. Before the Shinigami can act, the Reigai step forward, saying that they will stop their fellow Mod-Soul's chaotic plan as their goal has always been to protect the Soul Society in their own way. The Reigai then destroy the technique at the cost of their own lives. When Ichigo regains his powers, he notices that Rangiku's power was used to help restore his own.

While the captains are in a meeting, the lieutenants gather and discuss the situation with the Wandenreich and recent disappearances of Hollows and Rukongai residents. Rangiku listens as Izuru deduces that Shinigami were likely involved in the disappearance of the Rukongai denizens.

She listens as Hitsugaya states that he will use his Bankai while she is with him and once it is sealed, they will fight together and devise a method to break the seal. When Captain-Commander Yamamoto decides to enter the front line, the two sense Yamamoto's Reiatsu resonate throughout Seireitei.

The two find their morale raised as Hitsugaya notes how serious their Captain-Commander is fighting and so the two of them have a duty as captain and lieutenant to not be defeated so easily. She agrees with her captain as they face the Sternritter member. After an unspecified amount of time, the Wandenreich return to attack Soul Society once more causing Matsumoto to join the battlefield alongside her captain where they confront Bazz-B.

After returning to Hitsugaya, reporting on the retreats, she states it is a good time to start their strategy, and releases Haineko , and Hitsugaya responds by creating an ice wall. Rangiku recalls Haineko's ashes back into its sword form. Although Bazz-B notes that it's only an ice wall, he notes that he can't melt it. Hitsugaya explains that that is the result of him and Rangiku using their powers in combination. Stating that they were finished with their battle, Rangiku and her captain begin to leave, only to be interrupted by Bazz-B, still alive, asking them why they were leaving already.

An injured Rangiku is later brought by Cang Du to the place where her captain has just been struck down by Bazz-B. Cang Du states that she and her captain should die together, as he believes that those who live together should die together. The Sternritter then releases Hitsugaya's Bankai to kill them. Following Mayuri's victory against Giselle, Rangiku and her captain are placed in special capsules in order to reverse the zombification process at the cost of much of their lifespan. When the remaining members of the Gotei 13 and Visored travel to the Soul King Palace , Nemu Kurotsuchi brings their capsules with her as they continue to recuperate.

This is because Renji and Rukia have more of a brother-sister relationship instead of a significant other based one. Of course this was disregarded due to the two getting married in the end. The relationship between Hitsugaya Toshiro and Matsumoto Rangiku is easily one of the most popular ships in the entire Bleach series. Not only does it follow the opposites attract approach due to these two characters being nothing alike, but it also follows the tall girlfriend-short boyfriend trope that so many people seem to love lately.

It helps out a lot that these two share a ton of screen time together in the series, making way for a ton of great pairing moments. This is one relationship that fans can't get enough of. Mayuri and Nemu is definitely one of the most hated relationships in all of the series. Even with Mayuri kind of loosening up on how trash he is towards Nemu later on in the series it doesn't rectify any of the feelings Bleach fans had for the way the captain treated his subordinate.

Nemu was constantly put in the way of danger due to Mayuri simply using her as another tool. Many believe that she deserved more but when around the captain she was simply a puppet. Rukia and Ichigo is probably everyone's first and favorite ship in the entirety of Bleach. These two spend so much of the series together going back and forth. They're like an odd couple but without actually dating. The best part of these two being together is the fact that they're from two different worlds and when they're together those worlds collide in the best way possible.

Shunpo Expert : Rangiku's flash steps are great enough to keep up with her captain, but her skill at it is most likely of the same level as most lieutenants. Her skill has proven great enough to easily out-maneuver Arrancar capable of fighting at lieutenant-level skill. Rangiku casting Byakurai. Enhanced Strength: Despite her highly feminine appearance, Rangiku has shown herself to be deceptively strong.

During her battle against Nakeem Grindina, she was easily able to hold back the Arrancar's large stomping foot with a single hand and his fist with her forearm, the former while her limiter was still active. Enhanced Endurance: Rangiku has been shown to have a high endurance. Enhanced Durability: Rangiku has shown to have a high durability. As she has taken a direct hit from the hollow creature Ayon resulting in the loss of the entire right side of her abdomen and she still was alive.

The tsuba is in the shape of a cat's head, with two triangles on the top half curving into ear-points and the bottom half tapering down into a single point. It has a dark red handle. Rangiku keeps Haineko behind her clipped onto her waist obi. Just like her master, Haineko tends to be impatient and stubborn, making it very difficult to wield her efficiently whenever she is moody. Of course, despite their clashes at times, the two get along fairly well and make for an effective team.

In doing so, many of her own attributes had changed to reflect the nature of Haineko, as now, the two were now as one entity. However, upon learning Bankai , she no longer requires the release command to access Haineko's power. When released, the power of Haineko is to turn entirely into ash, leaving only the hilt and guard remaining. This is in reference to its name, which means "Ash Cat".

By utilizing the hilt as she would normally use a sword, Rangiku is able to slash at anything that comes into contact with the ash. It is no different than being cut by a sword than when one is surrounded by the ash, meaning that all of the ash that Haineko transforms into is in fact Rangiku's blade. Each small particle of scattered ash is actually a blade in and of itself. Therefore, its cutting power depends greatly on how much of its ash is in contact with the intended target.

In the beginning, she could only create enough ash to cover a small group of challengers, but now she has shown herself capable of producing enough ash that the entire battlefield is saturated with its presence. The ash can spread as far as Rangiku is capable of perceiving, meaning that it may extend as far as the radius of her spiritual pressure. It is capable of moving and changing consistency as well as form on a whim, controlled entirely by Rangiku's thoughts.

With a mere thought or even by a gesture of the body, Haineko's ashes can take on virtually any shape. In most cases, it takes on the state of a massive cloud which completely surrounds Rangiku's enemies, but she is even capable of creating walls and whirlwinds of ashes without the need for any effort. When utilized by Rangiku, the ashes of Haineko serve as both an inexhaustible source of offense and defensive, taking on both roles instantaneously with little more than a mere thought needed to direct them.

Of course, while it can expand and become widespread, Haineko's sharpness becomes devastating when its ashes are held together in a tight formation. Rangiku has demonstrated this by creating long flowing rows of the ashes and using them as makeshift whips, carrying enough cutting strength that she could slay multiple large Hollows with a single flick of her blade. Akin to the essence of actual ash, Haineko's ashes are incapable of being influenced by any form of heat.
